Your payslip and retirement income.

Your payslip and retirement income.

Do you receive a retirement income from Zwitserleven? If so, you will also receive a payslip. You will find more information and frequently asked questions about the payslip here. In addition, you can also read on what date you will receive your retirement income.

Your payslip

More information about your retirement income is stated on your payslip. See the example alongside (click here for an enlarged version). Good to know about your payslip:

  • Do you receive retirement income from several pension policies? In that case, they will all be stated on one payslip.
  • Multiple pension policies that pay out on the same day are transferred as a single retirement income.
  • Is your net retirement income the same all year? In that case, you will receive one payslip at the beginning of the new year.
  • You will receive your payslip at the end of the month. See also 'When will I receive a payslip?'

On what date will you receive your retirement income?

You received a confirmation letter from us at the start of your retirement. It stated whether your retirement income will be paid in advance or arrears.

In advance: your retirement income will be paid on the 1st of the month, or on the first following working day. If the first day of the month is a public holiday or a weekend day, the payment will be made on the first working day after this public holiday or after that weekend.

In arreas: your retirement income will be paid on the 25th of the month. If the 25th day of the month is a public holiday or a weekend day, the payment will be made on the last working day before this public holiday or before that weekend.

Is your retirement income always paid on or just before the 15th of the month? This won’t change. If the 15th day of the month is a public holiday or a weekend day, the payment will be made on the last working day before this public holiday or before that weekend.

Time of transfer

Domestic payments will be in your account at the end of the payment day. Foreign payments (i.e. payments within the SEPA area and also payments outside the SEPA area) will be paid out by us on the payment day. However, we cannot tell you with certainty when the money will be in your bank account. A foreign payment to a country within the SEPA area will be in your bank account sooner than a foreign payment to a country outside the SEPA area.

Your bank statement will specify the gross benefit, the applied wage tax and the withholding under the Dutch Healthcare Insurance Act (Zvw).
