Why arrange a partner's pension?

You naturally hope to stay healthy when you retire. However, it's good to know that you can arrange something for your partner if you pass away. For example, a partner's pension. This means that after your death, your partner will receive a portion of your pension income for as long as your partner lives.

This is what you need to know

If you retire and opt for a partner's pension, a portion of your pension is reserved for your partner (unless your partner passes away earlier). This means that you will receive less pension income yourself. Therefore, it is wise to discuss with your partner what you currently need. But also to consider how much pension your partner receives on their own.
